The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior FP&A Analyst to join a growing and forward-thinking business based in Northampton.
This role is ideal for an ambitious finance professional looking to develop a career within Financial Planning & Analysis. Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you’ll gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting, commercial analysis and business partnering, helping to provide valuable financial insight that supports strategic decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
*Support the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and long-range financial plans.
*Produce regular financial reports and performance dashboards.
*Analyse business performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
*Assist with monthly management reporting and variance analysis.
*Build and maintain financial models to support commercial decision-making.
*Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight.
*Assist with revenue, margin and cost analysis.
*Support investment appraisals and business case preparation.
*Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes and financial systems.
*Provide ad hoc analysis to support senior finance leaders.
About You
You’ll be analytical, commercially curious and keen to build a career within FP&A.
Ideally you’ll have:
*Qualified or studying towards ACCA/CIMA.
*Experience within an analytical finance role such as Assistant Accountant, Finance Analyst, Management Accountant or Commercial Finance.
*Strong Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret data.
*Excellent numerical and problem-solving abilities.
*Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders across the business.
*A proactive mindset with a desire to learn and develop.
