Full job descriptionSenior Commercial Financial Analyst
A great opportunity for a commercially-minded finance professional to join a business partnering closely with commercial, FP&A and BI teams to shape strategic financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
*Build financial business cases and analysis to support key commercial decisions, with clear, actionable recommendations.
*Analyse customer trends, product costs, sales pipeline activity and cost drivers (e.g. commissions) across subscriptions, events and network areas.
*Develop and maintain scenario models for commercial propositions, budgeting and forecasting.
*Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles.
*Maintain and evolve the organisation’s Long Term Plan.
*Apply data and analytics to inform long-term financial strategy.
About You:
*Intellectually curious, detail-oriented and comfortable with ambiguity.
*Enjoys analysing data, identifying trends, and building models and clear summaries.
*Skilled at shaping findings into recommendations and presenting them confidently.
*Able to explain financial concepts simply to non-specialists.
*Strong academics; ACA/CIMA qualified.
*5+ years in commercial finance.
*Advanced Excel skills, including financial model building.
*Power BI, Tableau
