Nigel Wright are working alongside a successful organisation in West Yorkshire who are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Finance Assistant to join their busy finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with finance administration or accounts payable experience to develop their skills in a supportive environment.
You will play a key role in ensuring financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently whilst maintaining high standards of compliance, customer service, and financial control.


The Role
*Process financial transactions accurately and within agreed timescales
*Review financial documentation to ensure compliance with company policies
*Investigate and resolve finance-related queries on behalf of a range of stakeholders
*Maintain accurate electronic records and audit trails
*Support month-end activities, reconciliations, and reporting requirements
*Monitor shared finance inboxes and ensure enquiries are addressed promptly
*Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team objectives and targets

The Person
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
*Experience in finance, accounts, or office administration
*Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications
*Able to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines
*Confident handling finance-related queries
*Accurate, numerate, and detail-oriented
*Works effectively both independently and within a team
