Full job descriptionKennedyPearce are hiring an interim Commercial Finance Business Partner for a a commercial finance role supporting senior leadership through financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning. Responsible for delivering accurate financial insights, driving budgeting and forecasting, and partnering with stakeholders to support business performance and decision-making. This is a 3 month role with potential extension and an immediate start is required.Key Responsibilities*Own the month-end P&L reporting process, reviewing results and providing commercial insights.
*Manage month-end financial processing, reporting, cost analysis, and variance reporting.
*Produce management reports, forecast analysis, and ad hoc financial analysis.
*Lead budgeting and forecasting, including monthly risks and opportunities forecasting.
*Support long-term strategic planning through financial modelling and scenario analysis.
*Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, working with finance teams and external auditors.
*Support finance projects, business cases, KPI reporting, and cross-functional initiatives.
*Present monthly financial performance to senior stakeholders.
*Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.
Skills & Experience*Qualified accountant (CIMA or ACCA preferred).
*At least 5 years’ experience in commercial finance.
*Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
*Proactive with excellent organisational and planning abilities.
*Strong financial systems knowledge and process understanding.
*Deadline-driven with a customer-focused approach.
*Advanced Excel skills.
