People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our well-established client based in Swindon.
This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and the potential to secure a permanent position with a reputable manufacturing business.
This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Factory Operative, Machine Operative or Assembly Operative. Previous experience operating production machinery would be advantageous.
Rates of Pay:
*£16.00 per hour
Shift Pattern:
*Monday – Thursday: 15:00 – 00:30
*Friday: 15:00 – 19:00

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as a Production Operative are:
*Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
*Assisting with the setup and operation of machinery as required
*Working as part of a busy production team to meet daily production targets
*Assembling, packing or processing products in line with company procedures
*Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
*Keeping the work area clean, tidy and safe at all times
*Following all health and safety procedures and company policies
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a Production Operative, you will need:
*Good attention to detail
*Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
*Reliable with a positive attitude towards work
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team
*Comfortable to carry out manual handling duties where required
*Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential
*Experience operating or working with production machinery is highly desirable
*Flexibility to work the required shift pattern
*Immediate availability is desirable
Training:
*Full paid induction and on-the-job training provided
*Ongoing support throughout your assignment
