Reed Education is working with a welcoming secondary school to recruit a passionate and dedicated Teacher of French to join their team from September 2026.
Whether you’re an experienced French specialist or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and develop a love of languages and culture.
We Are Looking For:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*A degree in French, Modern Foreign Languages, or a related subject
*Experience teaching French at KS3 and KS4
*Strong classroom management and communication skills
*A passion for language learning and student success
*Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
*Experience teaching GCSE Spanish is desirable
*The ability to teach a second language, particularly Spanish, would be advantageous
The Role
*Deliver engaging and high-quality French lessons across KS3 and KS4
*Develop students’ speaking, listening, reading and writing skills
*Prepare students for GCSE French examinations
*Monitor progress and provide effective feedback
*Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
*Support extracurricular language activities and school events
*Contribute positively to the wider MFL department
