Full job descriptionOrka Financial is working with a well established business based in Richmond, who are looking to bring an experienced Credit Controller on board as soon as possible on a fixed-term basis.


Responsibilities
*Managing and monitoring customer credit limits and risk exposure
*Conducting credit checks and setting up new customer accounts
*Producing and reviewing aged debtor reports (30/60/90+ days)
*Proactively chasing overdue invoices via phone, email, and written communication
*Building and maintaining strong client relationships to encourage timely payments
*Negotiating payment plans and resolving outstanding balances
*Investigating and resolving invoice queries or disputes efficiently.


Requirements
*Previous experience in credit control and collections
*Strong communication and negotiation skills
*Ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet deadlines
*Good attention to detail and accuracy
*Experience with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
*Confident handling difficult conversations with customers.
