Full job descriptionAll Square Recruitment is recruiting Assembly Operatives with a focus on sheet metal work. This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent position.
As an Assembly Operative, your key responsibilities will include:
*Reading and interpreting technical drawings, with a strong emphasis on sheet metal fabrication diagrams.
*Working to precise specifications to ensure high-quality output.
*Fabricating and assembling sheet metal components using a variety of hand and power tools.
*Collaborating effectively with team members to optimise production processes.
*Manual handling, which may involve some heavy lifting.
*Adhering strictly to all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
*Participating in full training and induction programs.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking motivated individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. Ideal candidates will have:
*Proven experience in an assembly/production role.
*Confidence and proficiency in using tools and machinery (e.g., brakes, shears, drills, grinders).
*The ability to read and accurately interpret drawings and instructions.
*Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
*Punctuality, reliability, and a strong motivation to learn and develop new skills.
Assembly Operative - Shift Details
*Monday to Friday (Weekday and Saturday Overtime available x1.5 & x2)
*7am to 3:30pm (Early and Late shifts may also be available)
