Full job descriptionPersonal Assistant & Creative Producer
Location: Hungerford and London (with regular travel to theatres across the UK)
Salary: £30,000–£50,000 per annum, depending on experience
Contract: Flexible (initial part-time or fixed-term arrangement considered, with the opportunity to develop into a permanent full-time role)
About the Role
We are looking for an exceptional Personal Assistant & Creative Producer to work closely with a dynamic entrepreneur and theatre producer with a number of exciting productions currently in development.
This is not a conventional PA role. It offers the opportunity to become immersed in the creative and commercial side of theatre production, working alongside a small, passionate team on multiple productions from early development through to opening night.
The role will evolve around the successful candidate’s strengths, making it an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in fast-moving environments and wants to play an active part in bringing creative projects to life.
You’ll be highly organised, proactive and confident managing multiple priorities. You will enjoy working with creative personalities and know how to keep projects moving without losing sight of the detail.
You’ll be just as comfortable arranging a workshop or press event as you are managing diaries, chasing agents or coordinating production logistics.
Most importantly, you’ll have the confidence, diplomacy and good humour to work closely with a creative individual whose ideas move quickly and whose enthusiasm is infectious.
Key Responsibilities
*Providing day-to-day executive and personal assistance.
*Managing a busy and ever-changing diary and schedule.
*Acting as a key point of contact for agents, casting directors, producers, theatres and other industry professionals.
*Following up on commitments and ensuring projects continue to move forward.
*Coordinating workshops, script read-throughs, rehearsals, press nights and special events.
*Supporting theatre productions throughout their development process.
*Liaising with the wider management team regarding business operations, budgets and commitments.
*Maintaining clear records of meetings, decisions and ongoing projects.
*Travelling between Hungerford, London and regional theatres as required.
*Becoming a trusted right-hand person across all aspects of the business.
Essential Skills & Experience
*Outstanding organisational and administrative skills.
*Previous experience within theatre, live entertainment or the creative industries.
*Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
*Strong diary and project management experience.
*The confidence to liaise with senior industry professionals.
*The ability to prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
*A proactive, resourceful and solutions-focused approach.
Desirable Experience
*Experience as an Assistant Producer, General Manager or Production Coordinator.
*Experience working within an agency or theatre production environment.
*Event planning or production management experience.
*Knowledge of the UK theatre industry and its key stakeholders.
