Overview:
Our client are looking for a Sourcing Manager to join their team and manage the sourcing process for large business needs. This role will work closely with suppliers and include tender processes.

Role & Responsibilities:
*Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to optimise supplier performance, reduce costs, and ensure continuity of supply.
*Identify, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, quality, and service agreements.
*Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring performance through key metrics and regular business reviews.
*Run fair and clear tender processes
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Engineering, to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
*Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and risk factors to support informed sourcing decisions and mitigate supply chain disruptions.
*Lead cost-saving and process improvement projects by leveraging spend analysis, supplier consolidation, and competitive bidding processes.
Essential Skills & Experience:
*3+ years’ experience in sourcing or procurement positions
*Experience managing tender processes
*Experience managing high value tenders over £300,000 in value
*Confident making decisions
*Commercial acumen with the ability to balance value, risk and business requirements.
*Team player
Package:
*Up to £66,000 basic salary
*Hybrid working
