The role of the Quantity Surveyor - Main Contractor will involve:
*Quantity Surveyor position dealing with various permitted development residential conversion projects
*Manage the commercial and financial aspects of multiple construction projects, ensuring costs are controlled and budgets are maintained.
*Prepare cost estimates, valuations, financial reports, variations, and final accounts.
*Support procurement activities, including tender analysis, subcontractor appointments, and contract administration.
*Carry out regular site visits, monitor project progress, and identify commercial risks and cost-saving opportunities.
*Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
The ideal applicant will be a Quantity Surveyor - Main Contractor industry with:
*Must have Quantity Surveying experience in construction
*Ideally have residential or refurbishment experience
*Experience within Permitted Development would be highly advantageous
*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal across all levels
*Confident and articulate
