IntroductionAcorn by Synergie is recruiting Foundry Operatives to join a leading manufacturing company in South Molton.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Foundry Operatives, Production Operatives, Manufacturing Operatives, or Industrial Operatives looking to build a long-term career within a well-established business. You’ll receive ongoing training, develop specialist skills, and have the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

Key Duties*Remove shell material from moulds following casting operations.
*Prepare moulds using water blasting and finishing processes.
*Operate manual and semi-automatic band saws.
*Trim, finish, and rework castings to specification.
*Dry blast components to achieve a consistent finish.
*Support casting operations by handling hot moulds safely.
*Pack, label, and prepare products for further processing.
*Carry out quality inspections and identify defects.
*Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
*Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets.
Requirements*Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, foundry, or industrial environment.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
*Ability to follow work instructions and production procedures accurately.
*Confidence interpreting routing cards and production documentation.
*Good problem-solving skills with the ability to identify defects.
*Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Working Hours*Rotating shifts:*6am-2pm.
*2pm-10pm.
