Full job descriptionAJ Chambers are working with a leading national law firm to recruit a Senior Solicitor / Principal Associate to join its highly regarded Insurance team in London.
Key Areas of Work:
*Complex insurance coverage disputes
*Defence litigation for insurers and reinsurers
*Reinsurance disputes and advisory work
*Policy coverage, interpretation and wording advice
*International claims involving foreign jurisdictions and local counsel
*Client relationship management and business development
*Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
Skills & Experience:
*Qualified Solicitor with 6+ years’ PQE in insurance law
*Strong experience in insurance litigation, policy coverage and defence work
*Proven expertise in reinsurance disputes and advisory matters
*Excellent understanding of the London Market and commercial insurance policies
*Strong legal drafting, analytical and communication skills
*Experience supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
*Commercially minded with a client-focused approach and an interest in business development
*Able to manage a varied caseload and work effectively under pressure
