Cantily Construction Ltd is expanding our reinstatement team and we are looking for an experienced General Builder / Carpenter to work on private residential properties affected by fire, water, and impact damage. This role suits someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship, communicates well with clients, and can work independently across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
*Carry out reinstatement works following fire, flood, and impact damage
*First and second fix carpentry, plasterboarding, studwork, flooring, doors, skirting, and general building tasks
*Kitchen and bathroom reinstatement (advantageous)
*Liaise professionally with homeowners, loss adjusters, and project managers
*Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow all H&S requirements
*Complete works to Cantily’s high standards with accuracy and attention to detail
Requirements
*Full UK driving licence
*CSCS card
*Strong experience in domestic reinstatement or general building
*Ability to work independently and problem-solve on site
*Good communication and customer-facing skills
*Eligibility to work in the UK
Useful (but not essential)
*Own van
*Own tools
*Experience working with insurers or loss adjusters
*Multi-trade skills (tiling, plastering, decorating, basic plumbing)
