Location: East Midlands
Rate: £500–£550 per day (Inside IR35) – Negotiable depending on experience
Contract: Until January 2027 initially
Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2 days onsite
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Head of Service (SEND Children’s) to lead the strategic and operational development of SEND services, ensuring children and young people receive high-quality, responsive support.
Key Responsibilities*Lead the strategic and operational delivery of SEND services.
*Drive improvement across complex SEND systems.
*Translate national SEND policy into effective local practice.
*Build strong relationships with schools, partners and families.
*Champion co-production and inclusive working.
*Deliver sustainable improvements that enhance outcomes for children and young people.
About You*Extensive leadership experience within SEND services.
*Proven track record of delivering service improvement.
*Strong strategic and operational leadership skills.
*Excellent partnership working and stakeholder engagement abilities.
