As Logistics Coordinator, you will play a key role within the Supply Chain team, ensuring the smooth planning and execution of customer deliveries. You will be responsible for coordinating UK and international logistics activities, managing delivery schedules, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience from order dispatch through to delivery

Day to day duties include:
*Plan and coordinate UK delivery schedules, routes and vehicle loads to ensure efficient and timely customer deliveries.
*Manage day-to-day activities of the delivery team and allocate resources to meet delivery commitments.
*Communicate directly with customers regarding delivery schedules and service updates.
*Coordinate international shipments, including container planning, export documentation and customs requirements.
*Produce packing lists, export invoices and supporting shipping documentation.
*Source cost-effective courier and freight solutions for UK, European and US shipments.

I am currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to join a well-established North East manufacturer with a reputation for delivering high-quality products to customers across the UK and internationally.
About You
The Logistics Coordinator will have/ be:
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in a logistics or supply chain coordination role.
*Good knowledge of logistics planning and delivery management processes.
*Experience of international shipping, exports and customs documentation would be highly advantageous.
*Strong organisational and time management skills.
*Excellent communication and customer service skills.
*The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
