Your new office
Hays Leicester Construction, Property & Civils team is home to some of our highest performing consultants in the Central region, based in fantastic city centre offices. Due to continued growth within our Environmental division, we are looking to invest further in our Environmental team, working alongside a successful team of four specialist consultants. Fresh from being recognised as Team of the Year, the team has gone from strength to strength, with their manager also earning a place on our prestigious Hays Elite trip to Mauritius this September! Hays are true experts in this space, making this an excellent opportunity to join an accomplished and high-performing team of consultants, managers and Senior Business Directors. You will have excellent opportunity to shape a business and progress professionally alongside earning a competitive package and uncapped commission. In addition to this, you will work within a welcoming, inspiring and charismatic team who champion everyone’s successes.


The Opportunity
What can I expect day to day?
We have an exciting opportunity for a consultant to join one of our award-winning Environmental team, based in Leicester.
You’ll be stepping into a high-value Environmental desk where you’ll continue to nurture long-standing relationships and place in-demand, highly skilled professionals across the UK. We’re looking for a commercially astute individual to grow an already established and profitable business, specialising in the temporary recruitment of Ecologists and Environmental professionals for a wide range of clients across the country.
As a recruitment consultant you will gain exposure to a range of different activities whilst being supported by a structured training and development programme from day one. Some of your main responsibilities may include:
*Source, interview, and match high-quality candidates to roles
*Identify and proactively partner with new and existing clients through new outreach and business development calls to build better, profitable outcomes by understanding their hiring needs and challenges
*Manage the recruitment process by guiding candidates and Clients through the full recruitment process from taking a brief to negotiating offers
*Be bold and curious, developing specialist market expertise by actively seeking to understand your customer’s market
*Take accountability for meeting targets and delivering your monetary goals that contribute to the growth and profitability of Hays
*Be part of vibrant and inclusive culture that cheers on progress by celebrating personal and team performance
