The Role - Child Support Worker / Mentor


A Children’s Residential Setting in Ilford is seeking a dedicated Child Support Worker / Mentor to join their team. You will provide high-quality care, guidance, and emotional support to children and young people, helping them develop confidence, independence, and essential life skills.
The role involves supporting daily routines, promoting positive behaviour, building trusting relationships, encouraging engagement, and working closely with the wider care and education team to ensure each young person receives the support they need.
The successful Child Support Worker / Mentor will have experience working with children or young people in a residential, SEN, SEMH, education, or care setting. You will be confident supporting young people with complex needs, following individual care plans, maintaining accurate records, and promoting the health, safety, and wellbeing of the children in your care.
