Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive infant school in the Batley area to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher for a long-term supply position commencing in September.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a nurturing Early Years team within a well-resourced school that places children’s learning, wellbeing, and development at the heart of everything they do. The role is initially temporary on an ongoing basis, with the potential to become a permanent appointment for the right teacher.
The Role
As the Reception Teacher, you will:
*Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
*Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity and a love of learning.
*Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively.
*Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers, and colleagues.
*Contribute to the wider life of the school and support children’s social, emotional, and academic development.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
*Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
*Have experience teaching within EYFS, ideally Reception.
*Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and a nurturing approach.
*Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
*Be committed to achieving the best outcomes for all pupils.
*Be adaptable, enthusiastic, and able to quickly build positive relationships within the school community.
Applications are welcome from both experienced teachers and confident Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with relevant EYFS experience.
