Full job descriptionReed Accountancy are partnering with a highly successful, well-established Accountancy Practice in Brighton who are seeking a Senior Accountant / Finance Business Partner to join their team.
This role is perfect for an experienced accountant who excels in client-facing roles and enjoys providing strategic financial advice rather than purely handling routine bookkeeping and compliance tasks.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
*Act as the primary contact for a diverse portfolio of clients, establishing strong, long-term relationships with business owners.
*Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable advice to aid in decision-making and business growth.
*Lead strategic planning sessions including quarterly and annual reviews through management accounts.
*Identify growth opportunities, potential risks, and provide insightful analysis to support client objectives.
*Coordinate with internal teams such as bookkeeping, payroll, and accounts to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
*Advocate for clients within the firm to ensure they receive top-tier service and support.
*Oversee client accounts including contract renewals, billing, and overall engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
*Proven experience in a practice setting with significant client interaction.
*Skilled at building relationships and providing expert advice to business owners.
*Capable of clearly and confidently explaining financial information.
*Organised and adept at managing multiple client portfolios.
*Experienced in reviewing management accounts and proficient with accounting systems.
*An accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA) would be advantageous.
