The Opportunity
Prospero Teaching is currently seeking enthusiastic ESOL Tutors to provide engaging 1:1 English language tuition to learners across Sefton.
This rewarding role involves supporting learners whose first language is not English, helping them develop the language skills and confidence needed to succeed in education, employment and everyday life.
Each tuition programme is personalised, giving tutors the opportunity to adapt lessons to suit individual learning goals and abilities.
Position Details
* Location: Sefton
* Position: ESOL Tutor
* Hours: 5-15 hours per week
* Start Date: September 2026
* Duration: Ongoing
Experience, Training and Qualifications
Successful applicants will have:
* Experience delivering ESOL tuition
* CELTA, DELTA, TEFL/TESOL, QTS or equivalent (preferred)
* Excellent communication skills
* A supportive and adaptable teaching style
To be eligible, you must:
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
* Provide two professional references
