People Solutions are currently recruiting for a number of General Operatives to join our well-established client based in Runcorn, Cheshire.
This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as an Assembly Operative, Factory Operative, or Production Operative.
Rates of Pay:
*£14.00 per hour basic
Shift Pattern:
*Monday to Friday
*08:00 - 16:00
*Overnight stays may be required

Day-to-Day Duties:
As a General Operative, you will work:
*Setting up and running machines such as band saws
*Using hand tools, including drills and band saws
*Assembling parts using tools or machinery
*Working away on site when required
*Keeping the work area clean and tidy at all times
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a General Operative, you will need:
*Confidence using hand tools
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team
*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
*Comfortable working in a manual workshop environment
*Willingness to learn new skills and processes
Desirable Experience:
*Full UK driving licence would be advantageous
*Counterbalance FLT licence would be advantageous
Training:
*Full on-site training provided
*Ongoing development and upskilling opportunities throughout your assignment
