Full job descriptionDV Cleared Senior Linux System Administrator - Reading (On-Site)
An opportunity is available for a DV Cleared Senior Linux System Administrator to join a specialist team supporting a secure, large-scale big data platform for a critical national infrastructure programme.
Location: Reading - 100% On-Site, Monday-Friday (37.5 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:
*Administer, maintain and optimise Linux server environments.
*Manage VMware vSphere/ESXi infrastructure.
*Develop and maintain automation using Ansible and Bash scripting.
*Troubleshoot complex Linux, networking, storage and performance issues.
*Support secure IT infrastructure and CI/CD environments.
Essential Skills:
*Strong Linux administration (RHEL, Rocky Linux or similar)
*VMware vSphere/ESXi
*Ansible or equivalent automation tools
*Bash/shell scripting
*Networking, storage and troubleshooting
*CI/CD and infrastructure security
*Rates depend on experience and client requirements
