The Role
The Technical Lead will take ownership of the technical development of all product categories, ensuring every garment meets Reasn’s standards for fit, quality, performance and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities
• Lead all technical aspects of product development across multiple categories.
• Own garment fit, construction, grading and quality standards from development through to production.
• Manage the end-to-end fit process, conducting fit sessions and providing clear technical feedback.
• Develop and maintain grading rules to ensure consistency across all size ranges.
• Build and maintain technical specifications and measurement standards.
• Work closely with Design and Buying to ensure products are commercially viable whilst maintaining premium quality.
• Approvals
• Identify opportunities to improve garment construction, fit, fabric performance and manufacturing efficiencies.
• Analyse customer feedback and returns to continuously improve product quality and fit.
• Manage supplier performance and ensure all factories meet the brands quality expectations.
• Ensure products comply with all UK and international safety, testing and labelling requirements.
• Support sourcing teams with technical risk assessments and factory capability reviews.
• Mentor and develop the technical team members as the business grows.
• Build robust technical processes that support the continued growth of the brand.
• Work with the 3PL


Experience & Skills


• Significant experience in a senior Garment Technologist or Technical Lead role within fashion retail.
• Extensive experience across multiple product categories including:
• Expert knowledge of garment grading across women’s, curve , tall and petite and childrenswear.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics and manufacturing techniques.
• Experience developing products across both domestic and international supply bases.
• Excellent knowledge of pattern cutting, garment engineering and fit.
• Strong understanding of fabric performance, testing and product compliance.
• Experience managing supplier relationships across Europe and Asia.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to balance quality, cost and speed to market.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using customer feedback and returns data to improve products.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
