Job Description:

The RoleReporting into senior leadership, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end UK payroll process, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining full compliance with current payroll legislation. You’ll also work closely with HR and Finance to improve payroll processes, support reporting requirements and act as the subject matter expert for payroll across the business.
Key Responsibilities*Manage the end-to-end monthly UK payroll process.
*Process variable payments including bonuses, overtime and ad hoc payments.
*Ensure compliance with HMRC legislation, tax regulations and payroll deadlines.
*Administer payroll-related employee benefits, including company vehicles and salary sacrifice arrangements.
*Support Finance with payroll reporting and audit requirements.
*Keep abreast of payroll legislation and implement process improvements where required.
*Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across HR, Finance and the wider business.
About YouYou’ll have:
*Previous experience managing payroll within a busy organisation.
*Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements.
*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
*The ability to build positive relationships across multiple teams.
*Experience using payroll systems (experience of Cascade would be advantageous but isn’t essential).
*A proactive approach with excellent organisational skills and a commitment to delivering a first-class internal service.
