Location: Ipswich Hybrid
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £25k
We are looking for a Payroll & Pensions Trainee to join our friendly and professional Payroll & Pensions team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience in delivering accurate, compliant, and high-quality payroll and pension services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
*Support our team of specialist deliver the portfolio of end-to-end monthly payrolls
*Complete payrolls processes accurately and within agreed timescales
*Administer pension processes including Auto Enrolment, AVCs, Local Government and Teacher Pension Schemes.
*Process pension joiners, leavers, transfers, retirements, and in-service changes
*Reconcile payroll and pension data and produce accurate reports
*Liaise with pension providers, finance teams, and other stakeholders
*Support investigations into and resolve payroll and pension queries in a timely and professional manner
*Support the administration aspect of audits, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and eager to learn. You will have:
*Experience in or a strong desire to learn payroll processing and pension administration
*Excellent computer literacy skills, including all Microsoft packages.
*Excellent customer service and communication skills
*High attention to detail
*The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
*A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately
