Job Description:
Full job descriptionTotum Partners is working with an international Law firm to recruit a Finance Manager for their London office. This opportunity will suit Financial/Management Accountants who have worked in global Law firms seeking to take a step-up, or someone currently working as a Finance Manager within the Legal sector looking for a new challenge. Hybrid working and competitive salary is available with this opportunity, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
Finance Manager Duties:
*Manage the monthly payroll process for multiple jurisdictions, working closely with external payroll providers.
*Prepare monthly accounting schedules, including accruals, prepayments, payroll, benefits and fixed assets.
*Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial records.
*Assist with month-end and year-end reporting activities.
*Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning.
*Deliver financial analysis and reporting to support senior management with business planning and performance reviews.
*Partner with departmental managers to monitor expenditure and identify opportunities for improved financial performance.
*Prepare indirect tax returns across multiple international jurisdictions, including VAT and equivalent local taxes.
*Oversee treasury activities, including cash management and banking relationships.
*Support the preparation of statutory and tax reporting requirements across the firm’s international entities.
Finance Manager Experience:
*APPLICANTS MUST HAVE SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE WORKING IN INTERNATIONAL LAW FIRMS.
*Part or fully ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or equivalent.
*Strong understanding of Solicitors’ Accounts Rules and LLP accounting
*Experience using 3E/Aderant is highly desirable
