Location: Exeter
Position: HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C)
Pay Rate: £17.07 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00 noon - 8:00pm
Overtime: Plenty of overtime available
Pay: Weekly pay
We are currently recruiting an experienced Class 2 Driver / Yard Operative to join our client’s team based in Exeter. This role offers a mixture of yard duties, customer service and trunking waste from Exeter to Avonmouth, with excellent overtime opportunities available.
Duties include:
*Driving a Class 2 vehicle on planned trunking routes from Exeter to Avonmouth
*Transporting waste safely between sites
*Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects
*Working within the yard when not driving
*Serving customers and assisting with enquiries
*Loading and unloading duties as required
*Keeping the yard clean, safe and organised
*Completing paperwork and following site procedures
*Adhering to all health & safety and environmental regulations
Requirements:
*Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
*Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
*Previous Class 2 driving experience required
*Experience in waste, recycling or yard environments desirable
*Good customer service skills
*Comfortable working outdoors and carrying out manual handling
*Reliable, punctual and safety-focused
Benefits:
£17.07 per hour

Monday to Friday shifts
12:00 noon - 8:00pm working hours
