Job OverviewWe are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver (Category C1) to join a busy transport team based in Swansea. This is an excellent opportunity offering regular weekday work, plenty of overtime, weekly pay, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities*Safely operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle to complete deliveries and collections.
*Carry out daily vehicle safety checks before each shift.
*Load and unload goods safely, with regular manual handling involved.
*Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed efficiently and on time.
*Complete delivery paperwork and use handheld devices where required.
*Provide excellent customer service when dealing with customers.
*Follow all road transport legislation and company health and safety procedures.
*Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or delivery issues promptly.
*Keep the vehicle clean, tidy, and roadworthy.
Requirements*Full UK Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) driving licence.
*Valid Driver CPC qualification.
*Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
*Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DD, DR or IN endorsements).
*Previous 7.5-tonne driving experience preferred.
*Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
*Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
*Excellent communication and customer service skills.
