Job type: Temporary
Shifts: Days, nights, evenings and weekends available
About the roleWe are currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants to support individuals across Surrey.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to patients and service users in settings such as care homes, supported-living services, residential homes and community-based services.

Key responsibilitiesYour duties may include:
*Supporting individuals with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting
*Assisting with mobility, transfers and repositioning
*Supporting service users with meals, hydration and daily activities
*Providing companionship and emotional support
*Monitoring and reporting changes in a service user’s condition
*Maintaining accurate care records and daily notes
*Supporting individuals to remain as independent as possible
*Following individual care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures
*Maintaining dignity, privacy and confidentiality at all times
*Working effectively with nurses, care staff, families and other healthcare professionals
RequirementsApplicants should have:
*Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant or Support Worker
*A caring, patient and respectful approach
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*The ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Reliability, flexibility and good time-management skills
*A good understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and person-centred care
*The right to work in the UK
A relevant care qualification, such as an NVQ or QCF in Health and Social Care, is desirable but not essential.
Successful applicants will be required to complete the appropriate pre-employment checks, including references and an enhanced DBS check.
