Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: Onsite – 37.5 hours per week
Salary:£25,000 -£30,000 per annum + Benefits
Location: South Molton
Owen Daniels are supporting a leading manufacturing company, and we are looking for aCMM Inspector to join on a permanent basis, due to growth in the business.
CMM Inspector – Key responsibilities:
*Inspect aerospace components using CMM equipment and standard measurement tools to ensure accuracy and quality.
*Create, operate and maintain CMM programmes while following engineering drawings, GD&T requirements and customer specifications.
*Complete First Article Inspections, in-process checks and final inspections in line with AS9102 and quality standards.
*Review inspection data, investigate issues and support corrective actions, audits and continuous improvement activities.
*Maintain quality records, support manufacturing teams and assist with equipment calibration, training and new product checks.
CMM Inspector - Essential Skills & Experience:
*Experience working within a manufacturing environment, ideally within a regulated industry.
*Previous experience in Quality Inspection, using measurement equipment such as micrometres, gauges and callipers.
*A minimum of 12 months’ experience in a quality inspection or similar role.
*Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
