Location: Havering
Pay: Up to £17.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Hours: 30+ hours per week, term time only
We are currently recruiting experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work in a Further Education (FE) settings across Havering.
We are looking for compassionate, resilient, and dedicated individuals who can provide high-quality support to students with a range of additional needs.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in:*General academic support within Secondary Schools or Further Education (FE).
*Supporting students with Autism (ASC), Dyslexia, and Dysphasia.
*Providing personal care, including feeding and assisting with personal hygiene.
*Working with young people experiencing anxiety, suicidal thoughts, psychosis, and associated challenging behaviours.
*Delivering one-to-one and small group support to help students access learning and achieve their potential.
Requirements*Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant within a Secondary or Further Education setting
*Experience supporting young people with SEND and/or social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
*A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
*Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
*An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
