Full job descriptionFancy supporting one of the UK’s leading Charity and Community law teams, working with some of the country’s best-known cultural institutions, universities and foundations?
A prestigious international law firm is looking for a Practice Assistant to join its Band 1-ranked Charity and Community team in London. Salary up to £46,000.
You’ll be the engine room behind a busy, collaborative team of 15+ partners, associates and trainees, handling everything from diary management and document production to billing, AML checks and conflict searches. No two days look the same, and you’ll be trusted to work with real autonomy once you’re up to speed.
What you’ll be doing
*Managing diaries and workloads proactively, with minimal supervision
*Acting as first point of contact for Fee Earners and clients
*Producing accurate, high-quality documents to house style, at pace
*Handling billing, AML documentation and conflict searches
*Keeping files, records and CRM data in good order
*Supporting marketing and business development activity
What you’ll bring
*GCSE Maths and English at grade C/level 4 or equivalent, essential
*Previous secretarial experience within a law firm, essential
*Experience in a Charity and Community team is a bonus, not a must
*A flexible, discreet, can-do approach
