Reed Business Support are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected business within the property sector for a Property Manager to join their Commercial Property Management team in Newcastle.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced property professional to manage a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, working closely with landlords, tenants and contractors to ensure assets are maintained, compliant and performing effectively. The Role
As Property Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a varied commercial property portfolio, delivering exceptional service to clients and tenants while ensuring properties are managed efficiently and professionally.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing all aspects of commercial property management across a diverse portfolio.
*Coordinating repairs, maintenance and contractor works.
*Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors.
*Handling client enquiries and providing regular reporting.
*Managing insurance renewals and claims.
*Processing invoices and supporting financial administration.
*Assisting with credit control and arrears management.
*Preparing service charge budgets and reconciliations.
*Supporting lease renewals, rent reviews and lease-related negotiations.
*Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
*Proactively resolving property-related issues and disputes.
*Contributing to business development and networking activities where appropriate.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
*Previous Commercial Property Management experience.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload.
*Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
*A proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach.
*High levels of professionalism when dealing with clients, tenants and contractors.
*Outstanding customer service skills.
*Good commercial awareness and attention to detail.
*A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use desirable
