Hays Education is working with a number of primary schools across Whitstable that are looking to appoint enthusiastic and dedicated Year 1 Teachers to join their teams.Whether you’re an Early Career Teacher looking to develop your skills within Key Stage 1 or an experienced practitioner seeking a fresh opportunity, we have a range of roles available across supportive and welcoming school communities.

The Role
As a Year 1 Teacher, you’ll play a key role in supporting pupils as they make the transition from Reception into Key Stage 1. You’ll help children develop confidence, independence and the essential literacy and numeracy skills that form the foundations of future learning.You’ll create engaging, creative and inclusive learning experiences, foster a positive classroom environment and support every pupil in achieving their full potential academically, socially and emotionally.Opportunities are available on both a long-term and flexible supply basis.

We’re Looking for Teachers Who:
*Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or are working towards it
*Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1
*Can deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire young learners
*Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
*Are committed to supporting pupil progress and development
*Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
*Bring enthusiasm, patience and a nurturing approach to the classroom
