Full job descriptionFinance & Office Administrator
Location: Ipswich
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm (30/60-minute lunch)
Pay: Up to £18.00 per hour
6-8 weeks initially
We are seeking an organised and proactive Finance & Office Administrator to support the day-to-day finance and administrative functions of a busy Ipswich-based business.
Key Responsibilities
Finance
*Process supplier invoices and payment runs.
*Raise customer invoices and resolve invoice queries.
*Maintain accounts payable and receivable records.
*Carry out credit control and chase overdue payments.
*Reconcile customer and supplier accounts.
*Prepare payroll and timesheet information.
*Produce reports and maintain accurate financial records.
*Support the senior management team as required.
Office & HR Administration
*Answer calls and manage email enquiries.
*Welcome visitors and assist with reception duties.
*Order office supplies and stationery.
*Support office organisation and administration.
*Assist with HR documentation and return-to-work records.
*Provide general administrative support.
Requirements
Essential
*Previous finance or accounts administration experience.
*Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit control.
*Strong Excel skills.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Ability to work independently and prioritise workload.
*Professional communication skills and a confidential approach.
Desirable
*Payroll administration experience.
*Sage 50 experience.
*Credit insurance experience.
*Familiarity with accounting or payroll software.
