Full job descriptionAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Engineer to join a growing data team and contribute to the development of a modern cloud-based data platform.
You’ll be responsible for developing scalable data pipelines, integrating multiple data sources, and delivering reliable datasets that support analytics, reporting, and operational decision-making across the organisation.
Working alongside data engineers, BI specialists, and business stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in the ongoing evolution of the company’s Azure-based data estate.
Key Responsibilities*Build and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines
*Integrate data from multiple systems and external providers
*Develop scalable and reliable data models
*Improve monitoring, testing, and platform performance
*Support data quality and governance initiatives
*Collaborate with BI teams to deliver trusted reporting datasets
*Contribute to platform improvements and architectural decisions
*Maintain documentation and data lineage records
Essential Skills*Strong SQL development skills
*Experience with Python or a similar programming language
*Data engineering or data integration experience
*Understanding of data modelling and ETL/ELT concepts
*Experience implementing data validation and testing processes
*Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
