The RoleYou will be working within a specialist setting, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs alongside associated behavioural challenges. This role suits a resilient and empathetic teacher, able to create a calm, structured learning environment and motivate pupils in need of additional support to reach their full potential.
Role Responsibilities*Deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
*Support pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs
*Develop positive relationships that encourage engagement and learning
*Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews
*Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and other professionals
Skills and Experience*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required
*At least 6 months’ experience within an SEN or SEMH setting
*Excellent behaviour management skills
*Enhanced Child or Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
*Ability to provide references covering the previous 24 months
Location and Package*Sutton Coldfield location
*Salary: £140 - £253 per day (PAYE or Umbrella)
*Start Date: 1st September 2026
*Contract position
