The RoleAs a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and stimulating environment where children can flourish. Your caring and enthusiastic approach will help nurture children’s wellbeing and development, whether you’re looking for flexible shifts or a consistent working pattern.


Responsibilities*Support children’s learning through play and planned activities
*Promote every child’s wellbeing, safety, and development
*Observe and record children’s progress accurately
*Build positive relationships with parents and colleagues
*Create a fun, nurturing, and engaging learning environment


Skills and Experience*Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) required
*Previous experience working in an Early Years setting as a Nursery Practitioner
*Paediatric First Aid qualification is desirable
*Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
*Ability to provide references covering the previous 24 months


Location and Package*Based in Walsall
*£14.24 per hour
*Contract position starting 1st September 2026
