Full job descriptionFreightserve recruitment are looking for an Export Clerk to work a permanent late shift (M-F 3.30pm - Midnight) for a fast growing Freight / Courier company based in the Heathrow area.
Key Responsibilities
*Process export documentation, MAWB, HAWBS, commercial invoices, and customs declarations.
*Ensure all shipments comply with customs regulations and international trade laws.
*Liaise with freight forwarders, airlines and transport companies .
*Maintain accurate records of all export transactions and documentation.
*Assist in resolving any customs-related issues.
*Work closely with internal departments to coordinate export processes efficiently.
*Ensure all export documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
*Stay up to date with changes in export regulations and customs requirements.
Key Skills & Experience Required
*Previous experience in an export role, ideally within logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain.
*Strong knowledge of customs procedures and documentation.
*Experience using customs entry systems
*Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 15:30 to 00.00 – Can be flexible to the right candidate.
