Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are recruiting a Vehicle Technician on behalf of a well-established independent VAG specialist in Warwick. This is an excellent Vehicle Technician opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals seeking long-term career development within a reputable and supportive environment. The role is ideally suited to individuals with strong technical skills and a background in VAG vehicle servicing and maintenance.
Benefits:
*Basic salary up to £37,500, dependent on experience
*Potential OTE (On Target Earnings) up to £45,500 through monthly performance bonuses
*Just Monday to Friday working hours, with one in four Saturdays
*Stable, long-term employment with ongoing training opportunities
*Supportive, experienced workshop team
*Modern equipment and facilities
*Monthly bonus historically averaging around £8,000 per year
Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
*Conduct servicing and routine vehicle maintenance
*Diagnose and fault-find electrical and mechanical issues
*Carry out brake, suspension, and tyre repairs
*Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and conduct MOT inspections (if qualified)
*Perform repairs efficiently, maintaining high standards of workmanship
*Provide excellent customer service within a busy workshop environment
*Work collaboratively with team members to meet workshop targets
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
*NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
*Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician
*VAG experience is highly advantageous
*Confident in diagnostics and fault-finding procedures
*MOT Tester licence is desirable but not essential
*Full UK driving licence
