We are currently recruiting for a Temporary field based Merchandiser throughout August for our client covering the Suffolk area. This role will require a lot of driving so please bare that in mind before applying to the role!
Pay rate: £12.82 p/h
Start Date: ASAP End Date: 28th August 2026
Hours: Mon-Fri, 09:00am-17:30pm (37.5 per week)
Key Responsibilities
*Visit newsagents and supermarkets across the territory on a regular basis.
*Report back on store visits each working day.
*Ensure point-of-sale materials are displayed in line with company plans.
*Identify opportunities to improve brand visibility and awareness.
*Maintain full availability of titles in each outlet.
*Seek opportunities to increase distribution through alternative outlets where appropriate.
What We’re Looking For
*Confident communicating with people and representing our brands professionally.
*Able to work independently and use initiative.
*Committed to ensuring our titles are promoted to the highest standard.
*A full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
*Previous merchandising experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Additional Information
*There is a significant amount of driving involved, with average daily mileage typically around 60-70 miles, though generally less on Fridays.
*Most working days will be focused in the Ipswich and South Suffolk area, apart from Fridays in Beccles/Bungay.
*Mileage is paid at 30p per mile.
