Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
*Diagnose electrical and mechanical systems on light commercial vehicles using manufacturer diagnostic technology
*Carry out routine and preventative maintenance, repairs, and servicing to manufacturer standards
*Complete vehicle repairs or component replacements as required
*Prepare vehicles for MOT and ensure compliance with safety standards
*Contribute to high levels of customer satisfaction through quality work and service
*Work within a team to support regional workshop operations and maintain fleet efficiency
*Continually develop technical skills through in-house and manufacturer training programmes
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
*Level 3 City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
*Minimum 4 years’ experience in a vehicle technician role, preferably within a fleet environment
*Full UK driving licence
*Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
*Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
*Team player with good communication skills
*Experience working on light commercial vehicles is desirable
