Job Description:
Full job descriptionOur client, a reputable premium brand main car dealership in Newbury, Berkshire, is currently seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join their well-established team. This position offers a clear path for career progression within a professional workshop environment.
Benefits of a Vehicle Technician:
*Salary up to £38,153 plus bonus
*Full-time hours Monday to Friday, 8am – 5.30pm (45 hours per week)
*Rotating Saturday morning shifts
*Modern, fully equipped workshop with dedicated technicians

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
*Perform routine vehicle servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards
*Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
*Maintain comprehensive service and repair documentation
*Assist with MOT testing as required
*Ensure work is completed within specified timeframes
*Deliver excellent customer service and technical advice to clients
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
*Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally within a dealership setting
*NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Technology
*Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
*Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
*Full valid UK driving licence
*Enthusiasm for delivering high standards of technical excellence
