Full job descriptionOn behalf of our client, a reputable and well-established dealership in Ashford, Kent, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a Vehicle Technician with main dealer experience to develop their career within a respected family-run business that values quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

*Competitive basic salary of £30,000 to £32,000 per annum
*Realistic OTE of up to £34,000 with manufacturer training provided
*Monday to Friday working hours, 08:30 to 17:00, with no weekends

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
*Conduct routine servicing and maintenance across multiple vehicle brands
*Perform mechanical repairs, including clutch replacements, diagnostics, and overhauls
*Ensure high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
*Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work carried out
*Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth workshop operations
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
*Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealer environment
*Strong diagnostic skills and broad technical knowledge of vehicle systems
*Ability to perform mechanical repairs such as clutch replacements and engine overhauls
*Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
*Motivation to develop skills further with manufacturer training and career progression
