Full job descriptionAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced WAREHOUSE operative to join a well-established and growing air freight operation based in the Heathrow area.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in air cargo warehousing who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
*Manual handling of a variety of cargo, including chilled, frozen and ambient freight.
*Loading and unloading vehicles, from vans through to articulated lorries.
*Operating counterbalance forklift trucks (1.5t–8t).
*Picking, packing, sorting and splitting shipments accurately and efficiently.
*Building, sorting and managing aircraft pallet stocks.
*Maintaining accurate warehouse stock records and completing associated paperwork.
*Using warehouse systems to log stock movements.
*Working closely with the operations team to ensure smooth day-to-day running.
*Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety.
Requirements
*Minimum of 3 years’ warehouse experience.
*Previous experience within the Air Freight/Air Cargo industry is essential.
*Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence (B1).
*B2 FLT Licence would be advantageous but is not essential.


*4 on, 4 off shift pattern 7.00am -7pm
