We’re working on behalf of a rapidly expanding, well-backed financial planning firm seeking to appoint an additional Paraplanner as part of its continued national growth. The RoleWorking alongside experienced Financial Planners, you’ll provide high-quality technical support across a varied and complex client portfolio. You’ll be responsible for producing detailed suitability reports, carrying out technical research and helping advisers deliver excellent client outcomes.
This is a technically focused role offering exposure to a broad range of financial planning matters, including pensions, investments, protection, tax planning and retirement advice. You’ll also contribute towards maintaining technical standards, supporting best practice and helping develop paraplanning processes as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities*Preparing accurate, compliant suitability reports
*Conducting technical research across pensions, investments and protection
*Analysing existing client arrangements and producing recommendations
*Liaising closely with Financial Planners throughout the advice process
*Obtaining provider information, illustrations and supporting documentation
*Managing your own workload and meeting agreed service levels
*Maintaining accurate client records and workflow systems
*Providing technical guidance on complex cases
*Supporting continuous improvement within the Paraplanning team
About YouTo be considered, you’ll ideally have:
*Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS) or equivalent
*Previous experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA or Wealth Management firm
*Excellent technical knowledge across financial planning
*Strong suitability report writing skills
*Excellent communication and organisational abilities
*A proactive approach with exceptional attention to detail
