Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are seeking a skilled Panel Beater on behalf of our client, a reputable Accident and Repair Centre located on the East side of Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Panel Beaters to join a well-established team within a busy facility.
Benefits:
*Basic salary up to £45,000 depending on experience
*Group bonus scheme available
*40-hour work week with no weekends

Duties of a Panel Beater:
*Repair and transformer accident-damaged vehicles to a high standard
*Remove and refit all panels, bumpers, and doors in accordance with manufacturer specifications
*Use various tools and techniques to achieve high-quality finishes
*Work independently or collaboratively within a team
*Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards
*Deliver excellent customer service by providing updates on repair progress
*Maintain tools and equipment to professional standards
Requirements of a Panel Beater:
*Full Level 3 Panel Beater qualification or equivalent (e.g., SCQF Level 3)
*ATA accreditation is highly beneficial
*Good welding skills are advantageous
*Confident in using different tools and techniques to achieve excellent finishes
*Ability to work on all panels, bumpers, and doors with precision
*Proven experience completing all repairs to a high standard
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Pride in delivering quality workmanship
*Own tools for the job
*Living within a reasonable commute distance to the East side of Edinburgh
