Production Operative (Night Shift) Location: Groby, LE6
Pay Rate: £16.90 per hour
Contract: 12-month temporary assignment with the potential to become permanent
Night Shift Hours*Monday to Thursday: 9:45 PM - 6:15 AM
*Friday: 5:00 PM - 10:30 PM
About the RoleWe’re currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Groby. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on production experience who is looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential to secure a permanent position.
Working as part of the night shift team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured to the highest quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities*Carry out production tasks in line with work instructions and standard operating procedures
*Safely and efficiently operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment
*Perform quality inspections and report any faults, defects, or non-conformances
*Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with health and safety procedures
*Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on processes, tools, and equipment
*Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets and quality standards
What We’re Looking For*Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
*Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
*Ability to follow instructions accurately and work to established procedures
*Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
*Positive attitude and willingness to learn
