Full job descriptionWe are seeking a qualified and experienced MOT Tester to join our client’s reputable dealership in Wantage, Oxfordshire. This MOT Tester role offers excellent career progression within a well-established, family-owned business committed to staff development and customer satisfaction.

Duties of an MOT Tester:
*Carry out MOT tests on customer vehicles in accordance with Ministry standards
*Diagnose vehicle issues and perform associated servicing and repairs
*Complete accurate reports and documentation for each vehicle tested
*Support workshop activities to maintain an efficient workflow
*Liaise effectively with team members to ensure high standards of service delivery
*Follow health and safety protocols and maintain workshop cleanliness and organisation
Requirements of an MOT Tester:
*Active Class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence
*Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
*NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification preferred
*Alternatively, significant practical experience in vehicle repair and maintenance with an active MOT licence
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
*Flexibility to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, with 1 in 3 Saturdays (8:30am-12:30pm)
